Job Description

As a Landscape Maintenance Crew Member, you will be responsible for performing lawn and garden maintenance tasks, operating landscaping equipment, and ensuring properties remain well-kept year-round. This includes mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and seasonal cleanup. In winter, duties may include snow and ice removal from walkways and driveways to ensure safe passage.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hedge trimmers.
• Perform lawn care services such as mowing, edging, pruning, and planting.
• Maintain landscape features, including hardscape areas and gardens.
• Assist with tree removal and brush hauling.
• Perform site cleanup duties, including raking leaves and removing debris.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on tools, machinery, and vehicles.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure all work meets company standards.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 16 years for general crew members; 26 years if applying for a driver position.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract (if applying as a driver).
• Previous landscaping, lawn care, or groundskeeping experience is preferred (1-2 years).
• Ability to operate lawn maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform tasks requiring bending, standing, and kneeling for extended periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions closely.
• References required upon interview.

Job Details

• Job Type: Full-time, Seasonal (6-7 months).
• Pay: $17.20 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience and position).
• Expected Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)..
• Work Location: In person.
